Today’s journey will be taking you to a whole new level of travelling and fun since our next destination is the Sahara desert and specially Merzouga where you will be spending the night. On our way to Merzouga we will be passing by the Middle Atlas by stopping at Ifran which considered being the Little Switzerland of Morocco, we will be making a quick stop at the cedar forest or the home of the monkeys where you will get the opportunity to take some amazing pictures and have a pretty charming experience with the monkeys then we continue on road to Midelt and Erfoud (well known by the amazing fossils). You will be arriving to Merzouga right before the end of the day where you will have about an hour of camel trekking along the desert enjoying one of the best sunsets you will encounter in your life to finally arrive to Erg Chebbi Dunes where you will be spending the night around a great dinner while enjoying a local folkloric band around a fire camp. We have reserved for you a luxury tent in Erg Chebbi where you will be spending the night to offer you the opportunity to taste the real life of Saharans. This is considered to be a life time experience on its own.

After breakfast you will get the chance to wonder on your own in the Merzouga desert before we take you on one amazing journey to Rissani where you will be having lunch. This is considered to be a special treat on its own since you will be living one friendly local experience with the habitants of the region and enjoying with them one of their signature meals which is “El Medfouna” or the Berber Pizza. Once we are done with our lunch break we will be heading back to Fez.
